Ainsworth Hot Springs Resort

The hot springs were first visited by the Ktunaxa First Nations, who embraced the nupika wu’u or spirit waters for their healing and rejuvenating powers. The Ainsworth Hot Springs are now owned by Yaqan Nukiy, the Lower Kootenay Band of Creston, BC returning the Ktunaxa peoples to this significant land.

Enjoy an indigenous inspired meal in the Ktunaxa Grill then retire in comfort to one of our 40 contemporary styled guest rooms. Complimentary hot springs access is included with your stay in the resort. Recent renovations include a lovely entrance in the pool lobby, a large accessible change/washroom and large retail shop. The hot springs pool and caves are also open daily for public enjoyment.

Whether you like to ski, golf, explore local trails or simply unwind, we can help you experience this historic site in an unforgettable way. See more info

Our resort features three odourless pools: 150 foot horseshoe shaped cave, main lounging pool and stream-fed cold plunge. Ainsworth Hot Springs Resort provides the perfect place to relax and enjoy the nupika wu’u, or warm mineral waters, much the same as it has for hundreds of years. Our Ktunaxa Grill will enhance your visit with a tantalizing culinary experience. For more info please visit our website
