Framed by tall cedar and fir trees, resting on the south shore of Cormorant Island, you'll find our rustic inn at 549 Fir Street, two km east of the BC Ferry terminal.

It will be our pleasure to welcome you to Alert Bay Lodge and to the community of Alert Bay, BC. The village (pop. 1500) is the largest aboriginal community on the BC coast. First Nations attractions include the U'Mista Cultural Centre, 'Namgis Burial Grounds, the Alert Bay Big House, the Big Tree Interpretive Trail and the world's tallest totem pole. First Nations crafts are sold in local shops and during the summer months ceremonial dancing is held at the Big House.

The Lodge offers five rooms including two rooms designed to accommodate families. One family room is pet friendly and has its own entry. Our bed and breakfast services include a hot breakfast for $10.00. To avoid disappointment we encourage booking 30 days in advance in the period from early June to late September.
