Bella Coola Mountain Lodge

Hotel

Bella Coola Mountain Lodge has a long and vibrant history in Bella Coola. First identified as the Nordschow family homestead at the end of the 19th century, it is believed the original homestead structure was built between 1895 and 1897.  The building was then a simple 2 room solid cedar beam cabin, which was typical of the Norwegian settlers of that era. At times between 1900 to the1930s the building served as a boarding house or stopover in Bella Coola Valley for travelers making the then 5-7 day journey to Williams Lake.

At Bella Coola Mountain Lodge we offer a variety of room options to suite your needs, and with mountain views,  personalized attention and modern amenities, our rooms are sure to please.   All of our rooms have private entrances, private bathrooms, kitchens or kitchenettes, satellite television, in-room coffee and tea, wireless internet and direct dial telephones (it may seem strange for us to mention, but we DO have cellular phone service at our lodge... this is still rural Canada...)
