Hammond Bay Oceanside Bed and Breakfast is a quiet and peaceful retreat in beautiful Nanaimo, BC. known as the Harbour City, located on the east coast of Vancouver Island.

Our private beach is great for swimming and sunbathing. Hammond Bay is ideal for kayaking, canoeing, diving, birdwatching, etc. Piper's Lagoon Park and Neck Point Park are just a short stroll along the seashore. Hiking trails, picnic areas, and swimming are features of both parks.

Relax on your private patio with your morning coffee to a spectacular sunrise. Enjoy a glass of wine to a setting sun as the cruise ships pass in the distance. Historical Shack Islands make a pictuesque backdrop to our view of Georgia Strait and the Coastal Mountains.

We are located just minutes away from fine restaurants, great shopping, golf courses, ferries, and popular tourist attractions. Famous dive sites, boat launch and parks are close at hand.

Hammond Bay Oceanside Bed and Breakfast offers two spacious suites. The Bayside Room and Oceanside Suite are both oceanside with private outside entrance and patios, eating / sitting areas, queen beds, down duvets, bathrobes, TV, VCR, reading material. Coffee and tea set-ups are standard in each room. Smoke free environment.

A full and hearty breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking Hammond Bay. Watch eagles soar as you enjoy your morning meal. We can accommodate special diets with notice.
