Kimberley BC accommodations provide the visitor with access to attractions in the vicinity of this former mining community that is the highest altitude community in Canada. It is located 30 km (18.6 mi.) outside of Cranbrook.

The Sullivan Mine, once the largest lead/zinc/silver mine in the world, closed in 2001. Tourism is a major industry for the community and a Bavarian themed all-season ski and golf resort is a major attraction. Each July there is an accordion championship held in the city. Enjoy the Silvery Slocan heritage tour of New Denver, Sandon, Slocan and Silverton. Hiking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, bear watching, golfing and fishing all available in the area.
