Ladner is part of The Municipality of Delta BC, which has three main communities: North Delta, Tsawwassen and of course Ladner.

A popular feature of Ladner what is called Ladner Village, which is north of Ladner Trunk Road and west of Arthur Dr, and features cafes and local shops. The Delta Museum and Archives can be found here along with the antique town clock.
