The Cottage at Penfold Farm - Duncan British Columbia Bed & Breakfast Accommodation

Gwyneth and Gary welcome you to Penfold Farm, their home since 1989 and a landmark of the Cowichan Valley since 1921. Enjoy a stroll through the orchard and extensive gardens, over the bridge, and muse on the water lilies in the ponds. Built as a model dairy farm, Penfold Farm has magnificent mature trees, interesting heritage buildings, and an atmosphere of tranquility which is much appreciated by our guests in the cottage.

The Cottage: Converted to a guest house in 2002, the Cottage at Penfold Farm is a cosy and charming rustic retreat. As well as the bedroom, it has a kitchen with table, two easy chairs, small refrigerator, and tea/coffee making facilities, and a spacious bathroom with shower. There is a flat-screen cable TV and DVD in the bedroom, a CD player, and a selection of DVDs and CDs.

Gardens: The beautiful natural setting for Penfold Farm has been enhanced by extensive flower gardens that complement the existing ponds, ancient oak trees, lawns, and heritage buildings. The various gardens bloom throughout the spring, summer and fall with rhododendrons, antique and David Austen roses, many flowering vines, sunflowers, dahlias, flowering bulbs in season, and vegetables too. Fruit and preserves from our organic gardens are a feature of the gourmet breakfasts.
