Looking for the perfect all-inclusive getaway in a setting as private as it is awe-inspiring?  Sonora is peaceful, luxurious and provides serenity in the form of private suites, cozy common areas and inviting hot tubs with spectacular views.

Island Currents Spa is in a setting guaranteed to generate pure bliss. This state-of-the-art spa was built with your health and well-being in mind. Guests can select from a full menu of massages, facials, manicures, and pedicures, and revitalize in the saunas, steam rooms, or state-of-the-art hydrotherapy tub.

Sonora offers unparalleled outdoor adventures ranging from kayaking and world class fishing, to bear watching and glacier picnics. Guests love Sonora Island's abundant wildlife in its natural habitat including: orcas, bald eagles, black bears, grizzly bears, sea lions, seals, dolphins, porpoises, and it's all within the comforts of luxurious living. Start off your day with an Eco Adventure tour and you will be sure to see and photograph some of these magnificent creatures.

Sonora's guests also have the opportunity to view grizzly bears in their natural surroundings. Take a short 30 minute Eco boat ride through the Arran rapids and Desolation Sound, and you will arrive in Orford Bay, the original winter village site of the Homalco First Nations People. The Homalco would return to take advantage of the abundant Chum, Pink and Coho Salmon runs that pass through the Orford River each year. Grizzly bears think along the same lines as you will watch grizzlies and their cubs feed in the river bed, with a guide who knows each bear's names and family history.

Once you have had a day full of activities, pampering and relaxation, it is time to arouse your taste buds with Chef Terry Pichor's tasting menu in the Tyee Lodge. Dishes include Prosciutto Wrapped Veal Tenderloin, Lobster Caesar Salad, and Banana Bread Pudding. Of course, a more casual A la Carte menu is always available.

Choose the perfect bottle of wine from Sonora's famous wine cellar and take it back to your private suite or patio to watch the sun set on the snowcapped mountains. Who could ask for a better end to the perfect day?
