My family stayed her for five nights.  Since we were planning on exploring the Sunshine Coast a fair amount, we didn't think we needed heaps of space.  A cot was provided and the other child slept on the futon.

There was a nice big bathroom with shower, jet tub and two sinks so we could all coordinate our essential business.

The kitchen was practical and had enough space to throw together a simply spaghetti dinner.

The Marketplace IGA in Maderia Park is only about a 10 minute drive down the road, so you can easily get the basics you need without a lot of effort.  The store does close at 8 PM and if you want some adult beverages, the BC Liquor store beside the IGA closes at 6.  If you need something late, the very nearby Grasshopper Pub has a beer/wine store where you can get a bottle of plonk late.  The fridge was small one, so don't try to "stock up" at the IGA.

Perhaps the most "wow" thing about was the view from our deck, which you can see in the photo in this posting.

Ralph and Silke are the couple that operates the business and they are great and very knowledgeable about the local area.  I think we took all of Ralph's suggestions and were not disappointed.
