We welcome you to Hammond Bay Oceanside Guest House, a quiet and peaceful retreat in beautiful Nanaimo, BC. known as the Harbour City, located on the east coast of Vancouver Island. We will do our best to ensure that your stay in Nanaimo is one to remember.
Our private beach is great for swimming and sunbathing. Hammond Bay is ideal for kayaking, canoeing, diving, birdwatching, etc. Piper's Lagoon Park and Neck Point Park are just a short stroll along the seashore. Hiking trails, picnic areas, and swimming are features of both parks. Please remember to bring your beach walking shoes.
Relax on your private patio with your morning coffee to a spectacular sunrise. Enjoy a glass of wine to a setting sun as the cruise ships pass in the distance. Historical Shack Islands make a pictuesque backdrop to our view of Georgia Strait and the Coastal Mountains.
We are located just minutes away from fine restaurants, great shopping, golf courses, ferries, and popular tourist attractions. Famous dive sites, boat launch and parks are close at hand. Kayak lessons can be arranged from our 'backyard' if you are seeking an ocean adventure.
Choose from our two comfortable rooms, both are oceanside with private entrances, bathrooms and kitchen facilities. Beach access to our private beach is at your doorstep.
