The sport fisherman's paradise!

Bella Coola BC is located on at the mouth of the Bella Coola River on the Central Coast of British Columbia. It has become a major port between Vancouver and Prince Rupert.

Bella Coola has fishing boats and pleasure craft docking at its wharves. Visitors can view canneries and log sorting and eat in the local restaurant. Explore by kayak the inlets and waterfalls in this area. Bella Coola was first settled in the 1800s as a centre for trade in oolichan (fish) grease.

Famous Tweedsmuir Provincial Park lies east of Bella Coola and is a wilderness park where hiking, fishing, photography and nature viewing can be enjoyed.
