The township started as a Forest Ranger Station. Pictographs, burial sites and shell middens offer a glimpse of Coast Salish culture and history. While far from the city, all the modern conveniences are available here. There are many channels and fjords for cruising and fishing, kayaking, wildlife watching, exploring and photographing.
