Horsefly BC is on the border of Wells Grey Provincial Park in the North Cariboo Mountains, between Horsefly and Quesnel Lake. It is an hour's drive from One Hundred and Fifty Mile House. It is a favourite destination for many visitors from around the world.

Spectacular scenery of farmlands, pasture, lakes, meadows, valleys and streams make this an exciting area to explore. Come snowmobile, sail, ice-fish, hunt, river raft, camp or go rock-climbing.

Horsefly is known for its large sockeye salmon run in early September. The Horsefly River Salmon Festival occurs every four years when the run is the biggest. The salmon run also attracts eagles and sometimes grizzly bears.

Horsefly accommodations include dude ranches, resorts, campgrounds and bed and breakfasts. Come and enjoy a truly western experience!

Our Horsefly B&B Inn is your ideal destination holiday accommodation, featuring art retreats and workshops, as well as providing ideal lodging for professionals, seasonal workers, and seasonal tourism. In addition to comfortable and scenic accommodation, the Inn offers workshops in drawing, painting, basketry, and mixed media sculpture.

Plato Island Resort & Marina is located on Quesnel Lake, in the Cariboo region of BC. We love to see families interacting with our free ranging chickens and on our sandy, safe beach. Quesnel Lake has awe inspiring sunsets and beachcombing. We are surrounded by pristine wilderness. Please note that means we are off the grid and on a generator which provides our power.

A beautiful, picturesque spot in the wilderness of British Columbia. Private and secluded, you'll enjoy the peace and silence - only broken by the mournful cry of the loon, or the soulful howl of a lone wolf. A remote wilderness resort where our guests can escape the pace and encumbrance of modern day life, to enjoy seclusion, solitude and back-country recreation.
