Gray Creek BC is located just 10 km (6 mi.) south of the town of Crawford Bay on Kootenay Lake. Gray Creek is actually at the mouth of Crawford Bay.

It is home to Kootenay Lake's oldest general store which is still run by the family that started the business in 1913. If you are looking for books on BC history, hardware or woodstoves, drop in here. See the old wooden electricity water wheel located at the Lakeview Store. Take a heritage boat tour of Kootenay Lake while you are here.

The Kootenay Lake area provides opportunities for camping, fishing, golfing, hiking, boating, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, wildlife viewing, bird watching, horseback riding and skiing and snow-mobiling in winter.

Gray Creek accommodations include camping and vacation home rentals.
