Saltspring Island is famous for being the home of artists and craftspeople who wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city. It is the largest (at 193.5 sq. km 121 sq. mi.) and most populated of the Vancouver Island from both Fulford Harbour and Vesuvius Bay.
