In May 2008 the entire Kicking Horse Lodge was purchased by the Truffle Pigs and is now owned and operated by Field locals. The lodge is a fourteen room post and beam structure just freshly renovated to serve your overnight needs located 20 minutes west of Lake Lousie and 1 hour west of the town of Banff. The lodge is located in Field's downtown in Yoho National Park.

Located conveniently in a unique mountain community guests are treated to authentic mountain hospitality which includes:

Starting November 2008 we are pleased to offer wireless high speed internet service, guided hiking packages, x-country and downhill ski packages and gourmet food weekend getaways.  Our award winning Truffle Pigs Bistro features full lunch and dinner menus, which are open to the public. Truffle Pigs Bistro caters to weddings, private functions and corporate parties. The bistro and lounge is fully licensed and we proudly serve BC wines and beer. During summer months we have an outdoor patio giving guests a breath taking view of the Yoho valley.

Truffle Pigs Bistro and Lounge is Field's only award winning and internationally acclaimed restaurant. It has been freshly renovated and offers dining throughout the day to the public and lodge guests (breakfast is served only in summer months). Our menus are carefully crafted by our head chef Sean Cunningham and feature fresh local and regional ingredients. Our wine list highlights BC wines and we serve local ice cold beer on tap. Jen Coffman's delicious hand made desserts and coffee have been called the best between Calgary and Vancouver.

The town of Field is located in the south-eastern corner of British Columbia. Field is located in Yoho National Park and is in close proximity to five mountain parks: Banff, Jasper, Kootenay, Glacier and Mt. Revelstoke. Field is 20 kilometers west of Lake Louise, 70 kilometers west of Banff , 110 kilometers west of Canmore and 174 kilometers west of Calgary ( A 2.5 - 3 hour drive from Calgary airport).  Field is also 55 kilometers east of Golden BC.
