Field BC is sometimes called "the jewel of the Rockies!" Located at the base of Mount Stephen, the village of Field is in the heart of Yoho National Park which is a Unesco World Heritage Site. Field sits on the banks of the Kicking Horse River, a Canadian heritage river.

The Canadian Pacific Railway's construction led to the establishment of Field in 1885. The village was the east/west division point. The Burgess Shale Geoscience Foundation is located here. While a tiny community, it has several eating establishments, a general store and gift stores.

Field accommodations include hotels, inns, guesthouses and bed and breakfasts.

Our lodge is a fourteen room post and beam structure just freshly renovated to serve your overnight needs just 20 mins west of Lake Lousie and 1 hour west of Banff. The lodge is located in Field's downtown in Yoho National Park. Modern rooms all equipped with private bathroom, queen bed(s), cable TV, in room phone service and room climate control. Come and enjoy Truffle Pigs Bistro and Lounge.
