BC Ferries ... a traditional British Columbia obsession
Tsawwassen is part of The Municipality of Delta BC, which has, including itself, three main communities: The two other are: Ladner, North Delta.
Tsawwassen accommodations provide the visitor with a chance to explore this suburban community south of Vancouver. It looks across Boundary Bay and Georgia Strait to the Gulf Islands.
Tsawwassen is a Coast Salish name that means "facing the sea." If you pronounce is Suh-wassen or Tuh-wassen, you won't confuse the locals (much).
The Tsawwassen First Nations people originally occupied the area and now occupy the west side of the peninsula. Tsawwassen has in its boundaries, the BC Ferries terminal with service to Vancouver Island, the only road access to Point Roberts USA, Boundary Bay Airport, and the Roberts Bank Superport.
Tsawwassen RV Resort is minutes from the Ferry Terminals. Our campground is a beautiful park close to Big Splash Water Park, the new Tsawwassen Springs Golf course and Tsawwassen Mills Shopping. We have revamped bathroom and security features. We also offer 15, 20 & 30-amp power, 20 tent sites, 8 pull-through sites, a takeout window for food services, high speed internet and video security.
