North Delta is part of The Municipality of Delta BC, which has three main communities: Ladner, Tsawwassen and North Delta itself.

North Delta adjoins Surrey BC on the east side by way of Scott Road and On the north by 96th Ave and the Fraser River.

Burns Bog is part of North Delta. Over 200 species of migratory birds use Burns Bog for resting, staging, and breeding. The bog is 10,000 acres, making it ten times bigger than Stanley Park. The bog is primarily composed of sphagnum moss occupying the central part of the bog. Pine woodland is to the south, ringed by a mixed deciduous (leafy) and coniferous (needles) forest. Rare animals and plants live in the bog. Oddly only about 2% of the bog is protected (Delta Nature Reserve) and the City of Vancouver uses some of it as a garbage dump.

North Delta accommodations include hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts and campgrounds.

Tsawwassen RV Resort is minutes from the Ferry Terminals. Our campground is a beautiful park close to Big Splash Water Park, the new Tsawwassen Springs Golf course and Tsawwassen Mills Shopping. We have revamped bathroom and security features. We also offer 15, 20 & 30-amp power, 20 tent sites, 8 pull-through sites, a takeout window for food services, high speed internet and video security.
