Dessert Row in Vancouver

One of my favourite parts of the West End is Denman Street, which is the main artery between Coal Harbour and English Bay, connecting W. Georgia Street (just before entering the causeway through Stanley Park) to Davie Street. This is the perfect stroll for an after dinner walk, whether it’s with out of town guests, or on your own, particularly if you haven’t yet indulged in something sweet. Chercher la Vache Cafe** has homemade baked goods, gourmet coffees, a deli, and creative bistro within the walls of Field’s general store. An open kitchen permits guests to watch the chefs as they work, and the outdoor patio is a perfect place to rejuvenate after a long hike.
